Our Founder


Yeoh Kah Hock is the proud owner of a stable of prime restaurants on Penang Island, Malaysia, namely 32 at the Mansion, Suffolk House Restaurant, Beach Blanket Babylon Cafe, Three Sixty Revolving Restaurant & Rooftop Bar and Chulia Court, The Tavern. These restaurants are well patronised by the expatriate community, tourists and locals alike.

Yeoh, who has worked in different sectors of the service and food industry said his fascination with food started with trying out recipes from his sister’s home science textbook and lessons from an aunt who was a great cook since an early age.

After a short stint working in the kitchen of a five star hotel The Rasa Sayang Resort, Penang, Yeoh went to study hotel management and catering at Ecole Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland.

Upon his return Yeoh joined the Shangri-La Inn, Penang. Later years saw him going to a few countries to widen his horizon and knowledge of the food and service industry with Club Med Cherating, Club Med Mauritius, Club Med Phuket and then the Equatorial Hotel, Penang. Now, Yeoh keeps himself busy by managing his string of restaurants full time.
